Bordertown is a very clean and friendly town. We enjoyed our pizza at Tolmer Restaurant. We visited the information centre before leaving and had a look around town. The lady at the Information Centre was very helpful. Also enjoyed a visit to the Art Exhibition at the Information Centre. We would recommend Bordertown to anyone travelling through to stop and visit.

We always try to stay here on the way back to Adelaide. Also sentimental because we used to visit friends on the farm. The Hinge Family. also the other farmers that we knew around about. Sad that they have gone now but the farms are having new growth.

It was great to see a township improving and making an effort to welcome visitors. The Woolshed Inn Bistro was clean and had been upgraded recently, with a good wine list and reasonable pub meals. The Bordertown Bakery is superbly set up for visitors - we will be back. Gateway Park looked like a great spot for a picnic or to let the kids blow off steam after a car ride.

With a short stay (10 hours) only saw a late night diner and the morning bakery. Both were good. Have previously visited Bordertown and its varied shops and facilities are good for a small country town.

The air-conditoner was a very old type. Noisy and virtually ineffective. If we hadn't had our own fan heater, the room would have been freezing. The carpet was dirty and I doubt had been shampooed in a long time. It was difficult to open the door, because the lock was very badly worn. I think the fly screen was the original one, so more than 40 years old and didn't lock. The staff, though, were friendly and the food we ordered in the restaurant for our evening dinner was excellent. For the standard of the room (Superior Queen), it was over priced.

Very clean, comfy bed, Hot shower, microwave, couch (in queen room) & table & chairs, everything we needed for overnight stay travelling with family & baby in 2 units next to each other. Enjoyed Pizza & chips from local shop for tea. Easy to find our way to Motel just off the highway, but very quiet.
